Passports
You will need to have a passport to travel into Mexico.

To obtain a US Passport over the internet or for more information go here.

Be sure sure to allow processing time to get your passport. You should allow approximately 10 weeks for routine processing and 4 weeks for expedited service.

Travel - Air
You will be flying into Cancun, Mexico and then will need to take a shuttle down to the resort, which is about an hour south of the airport. If you will be using mileage to book your tickets, I would suggest doing so soon, as these seats are limited.

I have not looked into group travel yet but if you are interested email me and I can look into a group or meeting airline request.

Land Travel
There are RT transfers from the airport through Aventura for approximately $35 per person. I will be looking into it more to see if we can have transfers included.

If you are not staying at Aventura, you need to find your own transportation. Before getting into a taxi, negotiate a price with the driver. $45-50 is reasonable from Cancun.

The Palace Resorts provide scheduled shuttles to the other Palace Resort properties or to the town of Playa del Carmen. There is also a taxi service at the hotel that will take you to most of the destinations you would be going.
